Despite a vocal range of 2 1/2 octaves and nearly perfect pitch, Elvis was perfectly willing to sing off-key when he felt the song required it. Those off key notes were art.

I've been listening to a lot of The King's gospel of late. I love how he makes his voice as absolutely beautiful as possible because he so loves the Lord.
